The Founder

Mrs. Ibife Eugene Alufohai is a young Nigerian serial entrepreneur who has become one of the most outstanding innovative trailblazers in the Events Management and Pageantry landscape first within Nigeria and now on a global scale.  

Born in Calabar, Cross-River State, Ibife lived her childhood and teenage years across different regions of Nigeria because of her Father’s military career that had him posted from one duty post to the other. 

Ibife, though trained and graduated as a Clinical Psychologist, has since her childhood had an unquenchable passion for modeling, fashion and pageantry. After participating in a number of beauty competitions during her high school days, she enrolled and won the title “Miss Valentine International” in 2010. This title gave her the platform and of course the nerve to carry out several humanitarian projects the most notable of which is the  “Ability in Disability (AID)” project. The project catered to the needs of the less-privileged especially those with physical disabilities. This period marked the beginning of her journey as a Philanthropist.  

Ibife is a member of the Chartered British Psychological Society (GMBPsS), with a strong academic background in psychology, holding a Master of Science (M. Sc.) degree in Psychology from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, UK.

In her quest to touch more lives and because of her love for the Polo sport, Ibife founded Polo International Events limited which is the global and central coordinating company in charge of  Miss Polo International and Polo Stallion Star Awards. These two trademarks strategically engage in programs and events which help to achieve the bottom-line of Unity across the globe, Women Empowerment,  Gender-Equality and Access to Quality Education.  

Ibife is a firm believer in the good that education brings to an individual and a nation at large. As a result, her passion to contribute to ensuring every child’s right to quality education drove her to found the Polo International Relief Foundation (PIRF). This not-for-profit platform helps to coordinate resources to assist the less privileged people across the world to ensure they have access to quality education. 

Till today, while keeping her eyes on the ultimate goal to change lives for the better, she continues to use her platforms to make record-breaking moves in the global fashion space. Ibife lives in Nigeria and she is married with a daughter.
