Miss Patricia Diaz Escalante
Patricia Diaz Escalante was born on March 26, 2001, in Madrid, Spain, to a Spanish father and a Colombian mother of partial Italian descent. She began her early education at the Pureza de María School, where her passion for learning and creativity first emerged.
From a very young age, Patricia demonstrated a love for sports. She began swimming and skating at the age of two, and by five, she was already competing in athletics with a professional club. At twelve, she gained recognition for her story titled “The Birth of the Unicorn”, a creative work that reflected her personal growth and imagination.
She completed most of her secondary education at the Isabel la Católica Institute in Madrid, where she also attended bilingual German classes. At the age of fourteen, she spent her summer holidays in Hamburg, Germany, to strengthen her fluency in German, making it her third language.
At sixteen, Patricia moved to Colombia with her mother to continue her education. There, she joined the Colombian All Stars, a high-performance cheerleading team, and in 2018, she represented Colombia at the UCA Championships in Orlando, Florida, where her team earned an impressive second place internationally.
Her artistic side flourished when she enrolled in an art, design, and modelling school. She later joined Zoom Models Agency, working with renowned photographers such as Francisco Palomino and Mario Dazán, and participating in various fashion events.
In 2022, Patricia studied aesthetics and obtained a diploma in cosmetics and dermopharmacy. At the age of 23, she completed a master’s degree in cosmetics, marking a significant milestone in her professional journey. She is now launching her own personal branding project, blending her passion for beauty, health, and empowerment.
In 2024, Patricia participated in Miss World, where she represented the department of Caquetá and launched a social project in partnership with the Amazon community. Her strong environmental consciousness—an inheritance from her Colombian grandmother—has shaped her values. She believes that caring for the planet through recycling and reusing is a vital contribution to the fight against global warming.
For her outstanding representation and values, she was awarded the title of Miss Diplomacy and was selected to represent Colombia in Miss Polo International. With this platform, Patricia continues to turn her passion into a way of life, striving to inspire others to join her mission of environmental care, cultural pride, and personal growth.
